President Lori Leier   called meeting to order.eighteen voting units present .President Lori thanked everyone for coming out and Rocky and Ruth for hosting the event.
Gary made a motion to approve Secretaries minutes with Tim  seconding the motion. M/C
Lori  gave the   treasurer’s   report   with   a new balance of $5718.11. Mike N   motioned to accept   treasurers   report  seconded by Jerry W. M/C   
Lori read a letter from John Vondall, he received the BSC scholarship.  The banquet will be Oct 10, our club can be represented by a couple.
Old Business:
Those who won oil changes for the Tuesday runs are 1st week Tom Eckstrom   2nd Tim Rostvedt  3rd Gary Stefanovsky
Web site posting of By Laws   They have not been posted as of the meeting, but I have forwarded them to Bruce  in a word file so we believe they can be posted  in that format.
BSC Scholorship   Sept 1 is deadline
Medora they need to know as soon as possible   if you are going.

Craig made a motion to approve Secretaries minutes with Gary   seconding the motion. M/C
Glenn gave the   treasurer’s   report   with   a new balance of $5847.90. Bill   motioned to accept   treasurers   report  seconded by Rocky  M/C  Current membership 53 members.
Old Business:
. Lori thanked everyone on event planning committee.  The new pocket schedule was handed out
Medora run fund raiser   Mary   has the date Aug. 10 and 11.  There is a package deal again   $372.82.  There was discussion and it was decided if some want to make it a day trip that is up to each member, if you want the deal you need to contact Medora and make the arrangements for the above date..
The two charities that won the vote were Make a Wish and Karries Kids, these two will be given $250.00 each.
The license plate was voted down.
Lori read a letter from John Vondall, he received the BSC scholarship.  The banquet will be Oct 10, our club can be represented by a couple.

The first run will be April 16th. Supper will be at Lucky 13.

Old Business:
President Lori thanked the event   planning committee for getting rough draft ready. Everyone looked it over, and we will have   the final updates at next meeting.
Medora run fund raiser   Mary   had not received the information back yet so we will get it at the April meeting.
Picnic September 15 will be at Rocky’s and Ruth.  We will have more information as the date comes closer.
We now have 52 members paid to date.
The charitable giving committee gave the recommendation   that BSC $500.00 scholarship, and $500.00 National Guard Military family,  and Rocky made a motion that the last $500.00 be split to be two $250.00 donations  Paul second the motion.  M/C
Bruce gave an update on bill 1180. More information will be sent as the bill comes to a vote.
New Business:
Christmas Party:  It was the   consentaneous of the group that the party should stay in January as December is a busy month and most of our snowbirds leave in October.
Capital Trophy has moved to 1830 East Century Ave. #5 they have the new name tags, their telephone # 2235670   if you have any questions.  The shirt shack also has our logo for shirts, jackets and other items.

Old Business:
President Lori thanked the Christmas planning committee for doing a great job.
A thank you also to Bruce for getting the web site updated with Jamie’s help.
Event Planners:  We had our first meeting  at  Lori’s and Tom’s  and got started , we are looking into 1 Saturday a month run  to places like Turtle Mtn. Enchanted Hwy.  We are in the process of checking the status of all places  we  go to make sure they are open and willing to take on our large group. (One run last year had 18 cars)  We will meet again February 22 at Ardean”s and Diana”s @ 2:00. We also talked of setting a place to eat on Cruise nite’s so everyone would be together.
Bowling   Green:   About 5 cars will be going from our club.  Call   Lori  if  you need some information.
Picnic: Jim Scott gave a report on the fall picnic, which will be Sept. 15th.  Rocky and Ruth volunteered   to host the event at their place instead of renting the park.  There will be no silent auction this   year  at   this event.
Medora:  Mary Scott contacted Medora about the club coming when the car show was on. After some discussion and a limited place to stay, it was decided to look for a different date.  More information will come.
Membership: We currently have 50 paid members.  A special thank you to Glenn for his work making the membership spread sheet.
Charitable giving committee:  Mary N. Julie H. and Mike G   will be meeting with some suggestions for the upcoming years donation. If anyone has a ideas contact me, aharstad@bis.midco.net, or leave me a text @ 701 570 2001, and I will forward to the committee.
New Business:
Legislature update:  Bruce gave an update on bill 1180, which has to do with front license plates.
Rocky and Ruth volunteered to host the Kentucky Derby for 2019.  Chuck will help with some of the details.
The  next  meeting will be March 8, 2019 @ the Eagles  with Ribeye steak as menu choice.

Old Business;
We will change the sponsorship on the web site to Puchlich   instead of Kupper   Mike will contact Jamie for the web site.  Sherry made a motion to take the birthdays off the site and Avie second M/C   Bruce will take care of this.
The event planners will meet in February to start planning the up coming Tuesday runs.
There was discussion on a one Saturday run in a month   from May to September   to a off the beaten Path.  There were   suggestions to Enchanted   Highway, state park’s .  More discussion coming.
The runs taken off the list this year Beaver Bay and Hazen.
New Business:
Three fold schedule cards  the event planning committee will take care of this.

Mike K has decided not to take the treasurer’s job again.  If you are interested in the position please contact one of the officers.  Thank you Mike for your years of service.

Event Planning:
We are again at the time when we need to plan our events for 2019.   Please provide feedback from your pocket cards especially if there is a place you really didn’t like.  So far the committee is Tom and Lori, Ardean and Diana, Tim and LuAnn, Paul and Evie, Gary and Val.   We discussed in the fall shorter runs around close to Bismarck and Mandan and that way we can eat sooner and be home before it gets to late.

Old Business:
St. Gabriel’s car show.  There was discussion on the car show and it was talked about having it earlier in the schedule.  It was suggested we do it on a main cruise night and then cruise and go have supper.  Something for the planning committee to think about.
Pucklich’s   will donate a free oil change each month and at the monthly meeting all in attendance will have their name in the drawing.  Mike K. won the first free oil change.  Congrats Mike.  Mary N.  meet with Heide and there will be a 15% discount for current corvette club members.  This excludes oil changes and tires.  From April to October they will furnish a free oil change certificate weekly.  Thanks Mary for all the work getting this done.
The by-laws change will be changed to A Chevy Sponsor.  We will update the change and officers will sign it.  Dale made the motion to change it to A Chevy Sponsor and update the by - laws, seconded by Jim S.  M/C

For Tuesday night supper runs the departure time is 6:00 p.m. sharp, unless otherwise stated.
For all events east of the Missouri River, we depart from the new Sunrise Exxon gas station closest to the new east Dan’s and Gee-Williquors on Centennial Road, east Bismarck. For events west of the river, we depart from the abandon Central Market parking lot on West Main Street, between 4th & 6th Ave. NW, in Mandan. If you cannot be on time catch up to us, you are in a corvette.

5 Karl (Rocky) and Ruth Rakow will host the 144nd Kentucky Derby Party at their
home at 13003 Highway 83 Bismarck. The event starts at 15:30 and our monthly meeting will be at 16:00. Traditional derby attire includes hats and dresses for women and button down shirts and ties for the men. Thought the dress code is optional. A race ballot will be available for those who would like to wager on the race. The wager will be $5. Rocky and Ruth will supply the meat and have a traditional derby beverage available. We have 60 members as of the meeting.

New Business:
We discussed the idea of a trivia run and we will have a committee appointed to check into the idea.
We also discussed the prior runs and it was decided to mark the schedule with a go or nay for next year, this way the committee has some ideas to go with when planning.
We discussed our new members that have joined, and how to get them the information, we need to update our email lists as some haven’t gotten added to the current list, as secretary , I am currently updating my list and hopefully this including all members with this newsletter. Thank you for your patience as this is a pretty extensive list and it changes monthly. I apologize for anyone left out.
Mary N. will talk to Pucklich   Chevorlet about sponsorship for the club.

Vice President Tim Rostvedt called the meeting to order. Bruce made a motion to accept the minutes and Chuck seconded  M/C
The treasurer’s report was given with the balance of $4134.75 Gary made a motion to accept treasurers report with AJ seconding. M/C
The by- laws were voted on  with 17 members units voting  in favor of the changes.
We discussed the line - up for Buggies and Blues.  We were to meet at the Mandan fire station at 9:10 am.
We discussed a run for July 31.  No decision was made, we will discuss it further at the next meeting.
There was discussion   on what to do about the Flasher run.  Mike K   will call and feel out the situation and see if July 31 is a possibility, as the run was canceled due to weather and they had already prepared the food.  We talked about sending some money to cover their   costs, nothing was decided.
Craig and Jennifer talked about the Wisconsin run in October.
Dale S has two tickets to Kansas and they can’t attend.  His number is 471-6261.
Mike N   mentioned  Bowling Green run is being planned for next year.

President Lori called meeting to order. The Minutes were approved with a motion by Bruce and 2nd  by  Gary   M/C      The Treasurers report was given by Mike with balance $5014.68 . We now have 52 paid members.  Al B. made the motion to accept treasurer’s report with Tom E.  2nd M/C
Old Business:
By – Laws   Committee:  Have to be published so we can read them.  Need 2/3 vote and we will vote in June. A copy will be attached to these minutes.
Lori made pocket size schedules for wallets.  They will be handed out at events so if you don’t have one be sure to get one from Lori.
Mary N. made motion that club pay for brats at the picnic at Al B. Gary second M/C
St. Gabriel’s wants us to come so we will go there instead of run on Sept. 25 then go for supper.
Kupper  will  give 10% discount off service and parts if you show run schedule.  Personal vehicles included.  This does not include oil changes.
Karla volunteered to send out email for Tuesdays run.
Please remember   silent  auction  at the Sept. 16th picnic.  Be thinking of items to donate.
The BSC  Scholarship   payment  was approved last month.

All next runs are listed in top of newsletter.  Remember to check your pocket schedules.
Website needs to be updated, Bruce will post new pictures if you send them to him in an email, anyone can post photos with directions.
