President Lori Leier called meeting to order. Nineteen voting units present .President Lori thanked everyone for coming out.
Bruce made a motion to approve Secretaries minutes with Dwight seconding the motion. M/C
Glenn gave the treasurer’s report with a new balance of $5697.00
Old Business:
President Lori thanked the Christmas planning committee for doing a great job.
A thank you also to Bruce for getting the web site updated with Jamie’s help.
Event Planners: We had our first meeting at Lori’s and Tom’s and got started , we are looking into 1 Saturday a month run to places like Turtle Mtn. Enchanted Hwy. We are in the process of checking the status of all places we go to make sure they are open and willing to take on our large group. (One run last year had 18 cars) We will meet again February 22 at Ardean”s and Diana”s @ 2:00. We also talked of setting a place to eat on Cruise nite’s so everyone would be together.
Bowling Green: About 5 cars will be going from our club. Call Lori if you need some information.
Picnic: Jim Scott gave a report on the fall picnic, which will be Sept. 15th. Rocky and Ruth volunteered to host the event at their place instead of renting the park. There will be no silent auction this year at this event.
Medora: Mary Scott contacted Medora about the club coming when the car show was on. After some discussion and a limited place to stay, it was decided to look for a different date. More information will come.
Membership: We currently have 50 paid members. A special thank you to Glenn for his work making the membership spread sheet.
Charitable giving committee: Mary N. Julie H. and Mike G will be meeting with some suggestions for the upcoming years donation. If anyone has a ideas contact me,
aharstad@bis.midco.net, or leave me a text @ 701 570 2001, and I will forward to the committee.
New Business:
Legislature update: Bruce gave an update on bill 1180, which has to do with front license plates.
Rocky and Ruth volunteered to host the Kentucky Derby for 2019. Chuck will help with some of the details.
The next meeting will be March 8, 2019 @ the Eagles with Ribeye steak as menu choice.
