CDT Featured Car Club at Buggies and Blues
Corvettes of Dakota Territory will be the featured car club this year at Buggies and Blues.  This is the biggest car show event in the Bismarck/Mandan area and we are smack dab in the middle of it.  Planning for this event will begin as early as our next meeting.  We want maximum participation from our members and our club will be showcased on main street in the primary viewing area.  This is our day and we will certainly want to make a good impression.    Give us your thoughts and ideas and lets have some fun in June with America's true sportscar!!
T-shirt design has been finalized with two of our club members cars featured for this year. Shirts maybe pre-ordered through Paul Klemetson.  More details will be provided at the next meeting
Participation Incentive.
A participation incentive was recently approved to encourage and reward participation in club events.  Anytime a member and their significant other attends a club function their name will recorded and entered into a grandprize drawing at the end of the year.  This is a fun event and provides an opportunity to reward someone who makes CDT participation a priority!

Corvette Fun Facts:
1966 Sting Ray
A bigger big-block option was the big news for 1966, as the 396 became a 427 offering 390 hp or a stout 425.  The 327 offered a 350 hp version.  Side exhaust pipes were again included and remained available for small block Sting Rays.
Corvette sales kept climbing, reaching 27,720  for the model year which was up 4158 units from 1965.  The Sting Ray's grille switched from thin horizontal bars to a crosshatch pattern for '66 one of only a handful of subtle appearance changes made that season.
Corvette Humor:
A guy gets to the Pearly Gates and Saint Peter says, "Now wait just a moment, before I let you in, I need to ask you, have you ever done anything to put others first, or defended the weak or innocent, things like that?"
The man answers, "Why yes, I saw this man with a Corvette by the side of the road and he was yelling at his wife, so I walked up to him and screamed at him to leave her alone, and if he didn't I'd kick his behind like this and then proceeded to kick a huge dent on his driver's side door on that Corvette."
Saint Peter answers, "Wow, that's pretty good, when did you do that?
The man answers, "Oh, about 4 minutes ago."
Rear-ended
I rear-ended a car this morning.  So there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car.  You know how sometimes you're so stressed out out that little things just seem funny?  Yeah, well I couldn't believe it...He was a DWARF!!!
He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, I AM NOT HAPPY!!!
So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?"
and then all hell broke loose.....
