Old Business:
The picnic at Al and Jean Braunís is scheduled for 5:00 PM Saturday, July 14th.  Meat will be provided. Everyone is invited and encouraged to bring a potluck side dish, beverages and lawn chairs.
Mike Neigum reported that a route had been planned for the Spearfish rally which appeared to be impacted by minimum construction.  Maps of the proposed route were handed out.  Departure will be Thursday, July 19th 9:00 AM from the Seven Seas parking lot.  There is a possibility that the CDT caravan will be joined by the Minot and Jamestown clubs.
Gary Stefanovsky gave out information regarding events and tourist routes for the Black hills.  The Corvette Main Street Rally will take place Friday night the 20th.  Corvette merchandise and displays will take place at the Spearfish Holiday Inn and the Rally will be downtown.  Chuck Horter said that arrangements have been finalized for the dinner at the Deadwood Social Club for 6:30 Saturday night July 21.  Everyone attending the banquet should review the email outlining the menu selections and get their meal preference back to the Horters as soon as possible.
Anyone interested in playing golf in the Black Hills should contact Gary Stefanovsky.
Mary Neigum reported there was no update on the possible garage tour visit hosted by Dr. Scherer.
President Wangler asked about food selection for the upcoming CDTpicnic scheduled for September.  There was consensus from the group that the meat selection again come from the Woodhouse (like last year, chicken and pulled pork).
Gary Stefanovsky gave a report from the charitable giving subcommittee.  The committee recommended that consideration be given for a $500 contribution to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and Back Pack Program for children and a $500 contribution to the Veteranís Home in Lisbon with emphasis on social services.  Mike Neigum raised concerns that if the Imagination Library donation was run through the United Way Agency that there may not be a guarantee that any or all the money would go directly to that resource.  Chuck Horter said that earlier this year, the club approved a spending limit of $1,000 on donations excluding the BSC scholarship.  He said these two donations would expend all the available funds.  He noted that consideration was also being given to the ND National Guard Foundation and there had been discussion on giving this donation to the Guard during Kupperís Military celebration weekend which is usually in August.  He said that Kupper is a primary sponsor of the club and that Bob Kupper would appreciate the support for this cause.  It was decided to table this discussion until next monthís meeting.  Individuals interested in providing input into the clubís consideration of donations should contact Jim & Mary Scott, Glenn & Mary Siewert or Gary & Val Stefanovsky.
Meeting adjourned.
Really Bad Puns but still funny
Two vultures board an airplane, each carrying two dead raccoons.  The stewardess looks at them and says, ďIím sorry gentlemen, only one carrion allowed per passenger.
Two boll weevils grew up in South Carolina.  One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor.  The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much.  The second one, naturally, became known as the lesser of two weevils.
A three-legged dog walks into a saloon in the Old West (Deadwood).  He slides up to the bar and announces: ďIím looking for the man who shot my paw.Ē
